George Washington from July 1 to July 29 and from October 8 to November 27, 1780. Guests at the Dey Mansion included: Lafayette, Anthony Wayne, Alexander Hamilton, Benedict Arnold, Aaron Burr. Member of the New Jersey Assembly 1748-52. After 1726. He lived between 1752 and 1764 at New York, New York; Dirck removed to New York City in 1752 for the balance of his life. He Dirck deeded land to Trinity Church, New York City on 25 March 1758. He died on 11 May 1764 at New York, New York. He was buried after 11 May 1764 at Middle Dutch Church graveyard, New York, N.Y; Dirck and his wife, Jane, were both interred in the graveyard attached to the Middle Dutch Church, corner Nassau and Liberty Streets, which building afterwards was the old New York Post Office for many years.
